Mrs. Amy Garrison
4009 Devon Street
Huntsville, AL 35802

Dear Mrs. Garrison,

It is an honor and my privilege to be elected to represent Alabama’s Fifth Congressional District in the United States Congress. I sought this position because I believe our nation is at a crossroads and that we need common sense leadership in Congress dedicated to working for practical solutions to the problems facing our families and our communities.

I have made it a priority to improve public education by offering support to teachers, administrators, parents, and students in our community. While I have enjoyed my time on the Parker Griffith Family Foundation Board, I believe that serving as a member of the Board might be viewed by some as a conflict of interest. While I will continue to support the goals and mission of the Foundation, I feel I must resign my Board position with this letter and will no longer be involved in any funding or allocation decisions on behalf of the foundation.

Thank you for your continued work to support our classroom teachers.

                                                              Sincerely,
